MIDDLEEAST TYCOON NEWS DESK: Mojtaba Amani shared these thoughts on his X account, commemorating the 40th day since the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the late leader of Hezbollah, and Major General Abbas Nilfoooshan, a senior IRGC Qods Force commander, who were killed in an Israeli airstrike in September.
Amani noted that in the wake of Nasrallah’s assassination, Hezbollah’s attacks on Israeli targets in occupied territories have escalated. He pointed out that Israel has only become more entangled in its crises, growing increasingly weak.
The Iranian envoy highlighted the resilience of the Lebanese people and their allies in resisting external pressures, reiterating Iran’s unwavering support for Lebanon in countering Israeli dominance and defending its sovereignty.
Despite the devastation Israel caused in southern Lebanon, it failed to make territorial gains. Nasrallah’s assassination, meant to dismantle Hezbollah, instead intensified the Resistance’s operations. Similarly, Israel’s extensive military actions in Gaza have faltered, with little success in diminishing Hamas’s influence.
