MIDDLEEAST TYCOON NEWS DESK:Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that Iran and Pakistan are deepening their cooperation in the fight against terrorism. This commitment follows his meetings with Pakistani officials regarding the activities of regional terrorist groups.
Araghchi highlighted productive discussions and important agreements that reflect the alignment of both countries on regional security issues, particularly concerning the instability in Afghanistan and the escalating terrorism along their shared border. He emphasized the need for enhanced cooperation and information-sharing to improve border security and combat violent extremist groups targeting the region.
Araghchi also linked these terrorist organizations to Israel, accusing them of destabilizing Iran. He pointed to a coordinated escalation of attacks that resulted in the deaths of ten Iranian police officers, coinciding with Israel’s actions against Iran.
Beyond security, the talks also explored broader areas for collaboration, including economic, cultural, and political cooperation, with both nations reaffirming their support for Palestinian rights. Araghchi’s visit follows a deadly attack in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, underscoring the urgency of the counter-terrorism efforts.
