The newly appointed Secretary-General of Lebanese Hezbollah issued a stern warning to Israel on Wednesday, emphasizing that the resistance movement’s missiles and drones pose a serious threat to the Israeli state.
“No location within Israel is beyond the reach of our missiles and drones. The coming days will reveal more, with greater events unfolding,” stated Sheikh Naeem Qassem.
Qassem highlighted Hezbollah’s strength, mentioning its “tens of thousands of trained fighters prepared for confrontation and endurance, with capabilities to sustain operations over an extended period.”
He delivered this speech to commemorate the 40th day since Hezbollah’s former Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in a significant Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s suburbs.
Qassem also emphasized Hezbollah’s multi-faceted organizational structure, which encompasses cultural, political, military, educational, and healthcare initiatives. “This comprehensive structure is the legacy of His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah,” he added.
He underscored that Lebanon’s resistance stands on a firm foundation, built on a combination of numbers, skill, strength, courage, and resilience against the fiercest adversaries.
“Sayyed Nasrallah’s spirit of martyrdom continues to inspire us, keeping his legacy alive. We will continue to honor his vision, as the Resistance endures and grows,” Qassem concluded.
