MIDDLEEAST TYCOON NEWS DESK:Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, confirmed on Wednesday that Iran remains committed to advancing its nuclear program, irrespective of changes in U.S. leadership. Eslami emphasized that Iran’s nuclear activities are peaceful, fully compliant with international law, and focused on benefiting the country’s citizens.
He highlighted Iran’s increasing self-sufficiency in nuclear technology, including the production of laser technology and high-demand products. A notable achievement was the launch of a fiber laser production line and the establishment of a production line for laser cutting of non-ferrous metals. Eslami also mentioned the development of a laser deep welding line for industrial steel applications and precision cutting systems for intricate components.
Despite the U.S. withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018, Iran has made significant strides in its nuclear program. Though the country has repeatedly denied plans to develop nuclear weapons, there is growing public sentiment in favor of nuclear deterrence in light of Israeli actions.
